Design and Build

Comes in four colours: Deep Purple, Gold, Silver and Space Black. With Ceramic Shield, tougher than any smartphone glass. Ceramic Shield front while on the back it has a Textured matte glass and stainless steel design .The screen is a  Super Retina XDR display 6.7‑inch (diagonal) all‑screen OLED display with 2796‑by‑1290-pixel resolution at 460 ppi. The iPhone 14 Pro Max display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.69 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).

Crash Detection

iPhone 14 Pro Max can detect a severe car crash, then call 000 and notify your emergency contacts. This is how it works:

• Sudden speed shifts
  A new high g-force accelerometer senses extreme accelerations or decelerations up to 256 Gs.
• Abrupt changes in direction
  A high dynamic range gyroscope monitors drastic changes in a car’s orientation.
• Laboratory crash tests
  We developed advanced motion algorithms by performing head-on, rear-end, side-impact, and rollover crash tests.
• Cabin pressure changes
  The barometer can detect pressure changes caused by deploying airbags.
• Loud sound levels of impact
  While you’re driving, the microphone identifies the extreme sound levels of a collision. For privacy, all processing is done on your iPhone.

Emergency SOS

Peace of mind when you’re off the grid. If you don’t have cell service or Wi‑Fi, iPhone Pro Max lets you text emergency services over satellite. Once connected, iPhone automatically sends your answers, location, Medical ID (if set up), and battery level to a dispatcher. If you’re on an adventure without cell service, you can now use Find My to share your location via satellite so friends and family know where you are.
